It's much nicer than the plastic dog food storage, esthetically anyway! I just put it together last night, so I still plan to put a 10gal trash can to fill with dog food. Highly recommend a power tool, made all the screws easy and quick.
Takes awhile to put together, but looks great! I had a different one that had pegs for the door on the sides that kept falling out. I think the design of this with the hinges on the bottom will hold up better.
color matches my kitchen, its very strong and easy to build, odor does not come out if you buy a can with lid,it large in size bigger than most ive seen, fuctions very well if you want to hide your trash can.
oh and dont for get the bottom food/ water container for you furry animal
Built it today in about an hour. After building it, I went to put the drawer handle pull on, and either the threads of the screw (8, as per directions) or the handle pull are wrong or slightly too short. I had to use an extra screw that fit, for now, just to open it. I'll have to go to the hardware store and buy a new pull and matching screws. But other than that, it's very nice and decent for the price.
Great cabinet, heavy duty and actually counter high unlike my old one!! Love the food dishes too
